La PSP è senza dubbio una potente console per emulatori. Ma per i collezionisti va reso noto che sono state pubblicate, in passato, diverse compilation dedicate ai più famosi giochi del passato. Quindi, per i nostalgici, considerando che oggigiorno è possibile comperare una PSP usata ad una cifra molto bassa rispetto alle cinesate di scarsa qualità proposte in commercio, è possibile ricostruire una vera e propria raccolta videoludica del passato a forma di UMD. Naturalmente, per chi ha la PSP modificata e non è un collezionista accanito, sa già dove recuperare le ISO.
